1. Purify Your Intention (Niyyah)
- Have sincere faith in Allah and trust that healing comes only from Him.
- Set your intention to seek protection, healing, and relief from harm.
2. Perform Wudu (Ablution)
- It is preferable to be in a state of wudu before reciting ruqyah.
3. Choose a Quiet, Clean Place
- Sit in a peaceful environment, preferably facing the Qibla.
- Avoid distractions and focus on the recitation.
4. Recite the Quran and Supplications
Recite the following verses and duas with sincerity:
A. Surah Al-Fatihah (7 times)
“Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘Alamin…” (Quran 1:1-7)
B. Ayat-ul-Kursi (1 time or 3 times)
“Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Hayyul-Qayyum…” (Quran 2:255)
C. Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 285-286 (1 time)

D. Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas (3 times each)
“Qul huwa Allahu Ahad…” (Quran 112)
“Qul a‘oodhu birabbil-falaq…” (Quran 113)
“Qul a‘oodhu birabbin-nas…” (Quran 114)
E. Additional Supplications (Duas)
- “A‘oodhu bikalimatillahi at-tammati min sharri ma khalaq” (3 times)
“I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.” - “Bismillahilladhi la yadurru ma‘asmihi shay’un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama’i wa huwa as-Sami‘ul-‘Alim” (3 times)
“In the name of Allah, nothing in the heavens or earth can harm with His name, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.”
5. Blow on Yourself or Water
- After reciting, blow lightly into your hands and wipe over your body.
- You can also recite over water and drink it or spray it around your home.
6. Repeat Consistently
- Ruqyah should be done regularly, preferably morning and evening.
- You can also play ruqyah recitations in your home for protection.

- Ruqyah must be performed with firm belief in Allah.
- Avoid seeking ruqyah from doubtful sources (e.g., magic, talismans).
- If affliction is severe, seek help from a righteous scholar or imam.
- Maintain your daily prayers, dhikr, and good deeds for ongoing protection.
